Sinopsis

What a mess, what had become of the convent after the bloody war! What a lot of holes! Thank goodness you no longer had to open the windows with all the holes. You looked out of one and saw the half-stripped vegetable garden, you looked out of another and saw the half-crooked tower... The Spanish War of Independence is over, but it has left Fray Perico's convent full of broken tiles, full of holes, the tower crooked and nothing to eat. What solutions will the hard-pressed monks find? A story of humor, adventure and love of animals.
